A sub-domain name is not a real website name. The sub-domain name is a name that is attached to a domain name, e.g. www.clubconcern.co.uk/science-fiction-readers-club. In this example the domain name is clubconcern.co.uk and the sub-domain name is the science-fiction-readers-club portion. It can also be displayed as science-fiction-readers-club.clubconcern.co.uk .
A 'real' domain name is the name of your website, e.g. science-fiction-readers-club.co.uk.
